The National Model Railroad Association is the largest organization devoted to the develop -ment, promotion, and enjoyment of the hobby of model railroading.  The NMRA was founded in 1935 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, making this our 71st year in service to the hobby of model railroading!

The SER provides services to the members of the NMRA resident in our Region and the 15 Divisions which operate in the Asheville area of North Carolina and the states of Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, and a portion of the panhandle of Florida .
